UK-Elect v8.0 is now available. This Edition of UK-Elect provides full support for forecasting UK Elections. Users can enter their own anticipated national vote percentages, or those from the latest opinion poll, and UK-Elect will predict the detailed results for every British constituency. Election forecasting can be configured to take account of tactical voting. The current 2010 UK General Election results are included. Electoral systems supported include First Past The Post, Party List, Alternative Vote, Two Round,  Supplementary Vote, Single Transferable Vote, and the Additional Member System, and UK-Elect can "convert" results between many of these systems.

The extensive sets of elections in this version include the 1983 - 2010 General Elections, the 1989 - 2009 UK European results, the 1999, 2003 and 2007 Scottish Parliament and Welsh Assembly results, the 2000, 2004 and 2008 London Mayoral and Assembly results, the 1997 Scottish and Welsh Referendum results, and dozens of sets of local elections from the early 1990s until the present. Users can also add their own election results, and make forecasts based on them.
